Lake County’s remote location and limited transportation options create access barriers to needed health services for residents in our community. The County of Lake Health Services Department looks to address these access barriers by purchasing a mobile vaccination clinic. This mobile clinic will allow department staff to go directly to our residents who are home/facility bound, homeless, or do not have access to needed transportation for vaccination services. The department’s acquisition of a medical mobile clinic not only assist in breaking down these vaccination access barriers, but will allow the department to provide vaccination clinics at large County events, and densely populated local hubs.
