Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract are invited from prequalified Bidders for the following work:
Contractor shall provide all the labor, materials and equipment associated with the demolition and replacement to refurbish student rooms, lounges, corridors, and lobbies in De Neve’s Cedar and Dogwood residential buildings. The project would refresh wall, ceiling, and floor finishes in the student rooms and common areas. The student rooms will receive new paint, vinyl plank flooring, base, and hardened wall panels in select areas of high impact. The common areas, including lounges and hallways, will receive new flooring and wall finishes. The work will be divided into two phases: Phase 0 - Submittals and Procurement Phase 1 - Construction The University currently anticipates Phase 1 to begin no sooner than June 17, 2024 and to be completed by August 30, 2024. The work will be performed when the building is unoccupied, during summer 2024.
