Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract are invited from prequalified Bidders for the following work:
Canyon Point is an undergraduate student residence facility located in the Northwest zone of UCLA's campus. This project will refurbish 214 student rooms and shall also include soft goods refurbishment in the lounges, corridors, and lobbies in Canyon Point. The building is subdivided into 8 “Houses” varying from three to four stories. The student rooms will receive new paint, vinyl plank flooring, base, and hardened wall panel under the window only. The corridors and lounges shall receive new paint, base and carpet. Communication and mobility accessible rooms will be brought up to the current code. The work of Phase 1 is currently anticipated to begin no sooner than June 17, 2024.
