Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract are invited from prequalified Bidders for the following work:
Contractor shall install a University-furnished standard Siemens Single Photo Emission Computed Tomography - Computed Tomography (SPECT- CT) system in room 1478 at the Merle Norman Pavilion (MNP). The scope of work includes the demolition of improvements in the way of the proposed work, installation of equipment, anchoring and framing, modifications to building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems to support the program, modifications to nurse call, fire alarm, fire sprinkler and security systems, testing and balancing, and repairs to building finishes impacted by the work. Contractor shall provide lead shielded doors and windows in the rooms as shown in the drawings.
