Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract are invited for the following work:
Phase 0: Shall include Submittals. Phase 1: Contractor shall provide a new Medical Air and Vacuum Equipment Room, with scope of work including the installation of new equipment, distribution piping, alarms, and other accessories designated for the new room, as specified in the drawings. Contractor shall also connect new equipment to existing distribution piping; provide valved-connections to existing Medical-Air and Vacuum Equipment Room and ensuring that all systems are interconnected properly. The Medical Air and Vacuum equipment for the new room will be University Furnished, Contractor Installed. Phase 2: Contractor shall demolish existing Medical Air and Vacuum equipment room and remove all equipment and accessories followed by installation of new equipment, distribution piping, alarms, and other accessories designated for the existing room, as specified in the drawings, and reconnection to existing and new distribution piping. The Medical Air and Vacuum equipment for the existing room will be University Furnished, Contractor Installed.
