Project Description
This contract requires Bidder pre-qualification by the SFPUC. The SFPUC issued a Declaration of Emergency on March 22, 2023, for the repair of Hetch Hetchy Water and Power (HHWP) roads due to above-normal precipitation from November 2022 through March 2023, which has significantly impaired the HHWP’s road infrastructure to essential facilities. The objective of the project is to perform emergency repairs to roads, embankments, and drainage facilities for HHWP that were damaged due to recent adverse wet weather events. The work is critical and essential to maintaining facilities that HHWP owns and operates. The work generally consists of rock and debris removal, asphalt repair and replacement, embankment stabilization including retaining wall construction, and drainage repairs. The work is physically located in Tuolumne County, along access roads known as Cherry Lake Road and Hetch Hetchy Road.
There are no bid discounts and no LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement for this project.
SFPUC will provide Bidders with a site inspection opportunity at 9:00 A.M. on May 12, 2023, at Moccasin. SFPUC will provide additional logistics information to pre-qualified Bidders and any potential subcontractors.
