1. The services to be performed by the successful bid are described in the Request for Bid. Additional copies of the Request for Bids are available from the City website : www.cityoftracy.org .The general Scope of Services is for a fuel supplier to provide diesel fuel at 370 W. Arbor Rd, Tracy, CA 95376 for four generators with an estimated capacity of 400 gallons each with two active at all times, an additional two backups tank. This location is considered an on-demand mobile fueling operation.

2. Any changes or request for clarification to the Request for Bids will be posted on the City’s website in the form of addendum. Bidders shall periodically check City’s website at www.cityoftracy.org for any addenda issued for this request and acknowledge the inclusion in Bid documents.

3. Bids shall be submitted and clearly marked as follows: “SEALED BID FOR DIESEL FUEL SUPPLIER FY 2023-2025 FOR TEMPORARY EMERGENCY SHELTER – DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL”

4. One copy of the Bid shall be provided in the sealed envelope.

5. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities. The City will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The City may award a contract to the next lowest responsible bidder if the successful bidder refuses or fails to execute the contract. The City also reserves the right to reduce/increase the Scope of Work for fuel delivery should the City’s fuel needs change.
