CITY OF TRACY

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

FOR 2023-2024 TREE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter "CITY") requests a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Citywide tree service for trimming, removals and replanting of the City’s 47,243 trees; see Scope of Service for additional details. RFP’s can be submitted to the:

    Office of the Operations & Utilities Directors,

    520 S. Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA, Gate 3

    up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., on May 11, 2023.

  2. A mandatory pre-RFP walk-through will be held on April 25 th at 9 am. All interested proposers will meet at the City’s Boyd Service Center, 520 S. Tracy Blvd, Gate 3, no later than 9 am.

  3. If the Proposer(s) is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the RFP, or finds discrepancies in, or omissions from the RFP, the Proposer shall submit to the City, an email request, for an interpretation or clarification prior to April 24, 2023 @ 2:00pm. All such requests should be emailed to: robin.kloepfer@cityoftracy.org . The City shall not be responsible for any explanation or interpretation of the RFP other by a written addendum posted to the City’s website no later than April 28, 2023. No oral interpretations of any provision in the RFP will be given.

  4. Three copies and one USB drive of the proposal must be submitted and be clearly marked as follows: “SEALED PROPOSAL for 2023-2024 Tree Maintenance Program – DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL.”

  5. All responsive proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the City in order to determine which proposer best meets the City’s needs for this Project by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the City will evaluate proposals are set forth in the Request for Proposals.

  6. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal or the proposal process.
