Central City II – Riverview Plaza Rehabilitation Project

SHARP Development on behalf of the Owner, is soliciting qualified B General Contractors to provide Construction services for the rehabilitation of a high-rise property located at 600 I Street, Sacramento, CA, comprised of 124 dwelling units. The project site is located at 600 I Street, Sacramento. Possible subcontracting trades are: Asbestos Abatement (C-22); Electrical (C-10); Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and A/C (C-20), Elevator (C-11); Doors, Gates and Activating Devices (C-61/D-28); Suspended Ceilings (C-61/D-50); Roofing (C-39); Low Voltage System (C-7); Fire Protection (C-16); Plumbing (C-36); Pool and Spa Maintenance (C-61/D-35); Scaffolding (C-61/D-39); Construction Zone Traffic Control (C-31); Lathing and Plastering (C-35); Ceramic and Mosaic Tile( C-54); Glazing (C-17).

The engineers estimate is $13 – $14 million range.

Two Pre-Proposal Conferences will be held:

• January 5, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

• January 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at 801 12 ^th , Sacramento, CA 95814 – 2 ^nd Floor Commission Room.

Two Site Visits will be held at 600 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 as follows:

• First Site Visit will be held January 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.

• Second Site Visit will be held January 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

The Pre-Proposal conference is not mandatory; however, firms interested in submitting their proposals are encouraged to attend.

All proposals must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 via OpenGov.

This contract is subject to Federal labor standards, compliance monitoring and enforcement and affirmative action requirements, Section 3 Requirements of the HUD Act of 1968, the Davis-Bacon Act, and Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise standards.

Submitters will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price.
