The City of Malibu is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide technical advisory services related to a variety of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) topics, such as reviewing developments related to City and FEMA regulations, providing an assessment of the City’s FEMA Floodplain Administration, providing recommendations regarding the City’s participation in the FEMA CRS program, and other FEMA related projects. These services shall encompass and include all detail work, services, materials and equipment necessary to prepare and deliver FEMA technical advisory services. The selected firm shall perform all services in full compliance with all local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, and executive orders applicable.
The contract will be for a period of three years. The City may extend this contract for an additional one year. The annual budget for these services is an estimated $25,000. The selected consultant for this contract will be expected to perform consulting tasks on an as needed basis.
The City's standard professional services agreement is provided in Attachment B. Please note that this contract is a draft and may be modified to reflect certain requirements prior to execution. Depending upon the scope of work, the contract provisions may need to include the California State Prevailing Wages.
