The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) is seeking on-call environmental and planning consulting services to assist with preparation of technical environmental studies to support California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related environmental documents, such as Initial Studies/(Mitigated) Negative Declarations, Environmental Assessment/Finding of No Significant Impacts, Environmental Impact Reports/Environmental Impact Statements. Consulting services may also include assistance with Federal Highway Administration/Caltrans and Community Development Block Grant/Housing & Urban Development documents, mitigation monitoring and reporting programs, securing resource agency permits, preparation of grant applications, CEQA and NEPA policy and compliance analysis, and training of County staff on specific Environmental topics on an as-needed basis.

The intent is to establish a list of two (2) to three (3) environmental firms to provide general and/or specialized environmental and planning services on an “On-Call” basis. SJCDPW will utilize these services on an as-needed basis for specific project assignments. The scope of actual work and required completion schedules will vary with each specific project assignment. The list will be utilized for a two-year period with the option of SJCDPW to extend the period for an two (2) additional years.
