This is an Invitation to Bid for the Petaluma Construction Center Project.
This is a Federally Funded project requiring Davis-Bacon Prevailing wages
. This project requires license B - General Contractors License. Vendor is responsible for downloading all applicable documents included in this bid event. The estimated budget for this project is $11,079,000.00 dollars. This is a Formal Bid advertised in the Press Democrat on January 16, 2023, and January 23, 2023.
There will be
Mandatory Bidders Conference
scheduled for this project on January 26, 2023, at 10AM, meeting at Petaluma Campus at entrance Building 600 (PC Room #691) please see attached map. The Bidder's Bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the district, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the vendor's response.
Vendor technical questions must be submitted via email to George Klumb of TLCD Architecture at george.klumb@tlcd.com on or before January 31, 2023, at 3 pm, if an addendum is required it will be issued no later than February 9, 2023. Bid responses are due by 1PM on February 16, 2023. Once the deadline has passed the electronic bid system will not allow late submissions.
Bids will be opened electronically and distributed via email to all bid participants on February 16, 2023, by 3pm. Sonoma County Junior College utilizes the college district website https://srjc.ionwave.net/Login.aspx and the Press Democrat (http://www.pressdemocrat.com/) for notification of solicitation opportunities. These are the only forms of notification authorized by the college district. Sonoma County Junior College shall not be responsible for receipt of notification and information received from any other source other than those listed. It shall be the vendor’s responsibility to verify the validity of all bid information received by sources other than those listed. Time of completion for this project is 420 (Four Hundred Twenty) days and Liquidated damages are $1500 per day.
