Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) is a recipient of the Equal Employment Opportunities Innovative Best Practices Grant offered by the Chancellor’s Office Institutional Effectiveness Division and the Office of the General Counsel. SRJC received this award to develop and implement the Cultivating an Ecosystem of Belonging (CEB) Program. The primary goal of the CEB program is to increase retention of newly hired BIPOC faculty at SRJC.
Proposals
are solicited
from
qualified
consulting organizations
to provide an experienced team of DEIA consultants who have a proven track record in facilitating culture transformation at community colleges. We are seeking specific expertise in developing and implementing BIPOC faculty retention programs through strategic DEIA training and coaching provided to Deans, Department Chairs and faculty mentors to support BIPOC faculty.
Interested consulting firms should have the capacity to train and/or coach approximately 30 new contract faculty, 15 deans/directors and 20 department chairs with availability beginning October 2023 through June 2025. Multiple vendors may be selected based on the expertise needed to provide training, coaching and mentoring services.
This RFP is being advertised in the Press Democrat on July 17, 2023 and July 24, 2023. All questions must be submitted via email to the attention of Daniel Klempner at dklempner@santarosa.edu on or prior to July 27, 2023 by end of business day. An addendum will be issued through the electronic bid portal containing responses to vendor questions by August 3, 2023.
The deadline to submit proposals is August 21, 2023 at 2 pm (PT). Please note all items marked with a red * are required items. No late submissions are allowed, the system times-out at the deadline.
Interviews will be conducted the week of September 5, 2023.
