SMUD has a goal to reach Zero Carbon by 2030. To support SMUD’s continued and increasing need to procure sources of renewable energy, SMUD’s Power Generation Project Development organization is developing several Solar, Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and Wind projects.

These projects are in various stages from ideation, design, and construction. Several are within either a SMUD Interconnection queue or a CAISO Interconnection queue. SMUD seeks services to support each interconnection process from ideation, initial layout and equipment selection, preliminary plans and diagrams, applications, and study processes for current and future projects.

Proposers shall be experts in detail demonstrate their familiarity with completing and maintaining applications for renewable project in both the SMUD and CAISO markets.
