SMUD is seeking qualified Contractors to provide Site and building demolition of SMUD’s previous corporation yard which is approximately 16 acres on the north side of the light rail tracks and 4 acres which are south of the light rail tracks. Multiple buildings are on each location and the site work generally includes demolition of parking lot lights, loading ramps, equipment racks, tall concrete curbs, and misc. site structures such as a wood chip bin and covered material bins.

Services are needed by approximately November 1, 2023, and the resulting contract will run for approximately 1 year.

SMUD intends to award one contract to the lowest evaluated Bidder as a result of this solicitation.

The Prime Bidder must demonstrate in their bid that they meet the following PASS/FAIL requirement. Failure to meet this requirement will result in SMUD declaring the Bid non-responsive.

A. Prime Bidder must attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and site visit to ensure a complete understanding of the details of this Invitation for Bid. Attendance will be verified by the Pre-Bid Conference sign-in sheet.

B. Contractor must possess a current California Contractor’s License in ALL of the following classes: The general contractor will have an A, C21 and C22 licenses at the time of bid.
