San Diego State University will select a firm to provide brokerage services related to the graduate student health insurance plan. The information received will be reviewed and used to select a broker to represent the university in this area. There are approximately 4200 graduate students enrolled in academic programs at SDSU who are required to participate in the health insurance requirement.
The University will work with the selected broker each year to solicit and evaluate insurance proposals and to design a cost-effective full-service plan that is utilized and paid for by the respective student populations who choose to enroll in the plan. The selected broker will be required to assist the University in developing, evaluating, selecting, and implementing this annual plan.
