The centerpiece of the Campus is the 37-year-old Golden Bear Training Ship (GBTS), The GBTS is scheduled to be replaced by a new National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV), at the University¿s pier faculties as early as 2026. . The intent of this solicitation is to select a design-build team to develop key initial components as identified in Phase I of the University Waterfront Masterplan (WFMP) as which would be required to facilitate delivery and operation of NSMV.
