The County of Placer hereinafter referred to as “Agency” is soliciting proposals from qualified mobility service and technology providers for a “Turnkey” Microtransit Demand Response Service for Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit’s, TART Connect microtransit on-demand transit service. The agency is seeking to procure a qualified prime contractor to operate a turnkey microtransit demand response public transportation service in the Truckee North Lake Tahoe region, to include all technology, labor, and equipment for providing shared-ride service according to the needs of Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit and its stakeholders. Additionally, The Town of Truckee, hereinafter referred to as “Town”, which independently operates the Truckee TART services, is also seeking to procure a qualified prime contractor to operate a microtransit demand response service, however, the Town has already procured Spare Labs technology as the Software-as-a-Service (Saas) solution to be used for the microtransit service.
