The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for Reentry Intensive Case Management Services (RICMS) to assist the County in its efforts to provide economic recovery and resilience to the communities most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The RICMS Program provides care coordination and system navigation through contracted community-based organizations (CBO). The program utilizes Community Health Workers (CHW) and Peer Support Specialists (PSS), who are mentors with previous system involvement, to provide case management and to create an integrated pathway to treatment. The overall goal of RICMS is to reduce recidivism and improve health outcomes for program participants.
