The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Operation and Maintenance of the Peter F. Schabarum Equestrian Center. We are seeking proposals from qualified organizations or individuals with experience in the management, operation, and maintenance of an equestrian center. Proposers must meet all minimum mandatory requirements set forth in the RFP document. A Mandatory Proposers Conference will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at Peter F. Schabarum Regional Park, Conference Room, 17250 Colima Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748. A mandatory site visit will begin immediately after the Proposers Conference. Proposers are strongly encouraged to submit their questions prior to, or at the Mandatory Proposers conference/site-visit. At the conclusion of the Mandatory Proposers Conference and site visit, no further questions will be accepted. Proposals are due no later than 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, through electronic submission. LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please visit the County’s website to download the Request for Proposals (PDF file) and to register for future contracting opportunities at http://camisvr.co.la.ca.us/lacobids/ A person with disability may contact the Contracts and Procurement Division at (626) 588-5300 at least three (3) days before the Mandatory Proposers Conference to request alternative formats or other accommodations.
