The City is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive Development Impact Fee Study and a recommended Development Impact Fee Schedule for new developments. The City currently has two development fees and needs to start preparing for and budgeting to pay for its infrastructure based on the impacts of new development activity. The Development Impact Fee Study must comply with the Mitigation Fee Act (California Government Code Section 66000 et seq., also known as Assembly Bill 1600).
Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 (The deadline has been extended due to some questions about the RFP. The questions and the City's response have been included as an attachment).
