The City of Santa Cruz (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide communications and rebranding services.

The Communications and Rebranding Services RFP is to identify a firm that can assist our organization in developing and executing a comprehensive rebranding strategy that effectively communicates our brand message to our target audience. The firm, not limited to, will be responsible for conducting market research, developing a brand strategy and identity, and implementing the communication plan across all relevant channels to ensure consistent and effective brand message.

The project is intended to enhance the City of Santa Cruz’s brand image and reputation through a comprehensive communications and rebranding strategy that engages internal and external stakeholders and increases brand awareness. The project should include a thorough analysis of the City’s current brand identity, messaging, and communication channels and developing and implementing a new brand strategy, identity, and communication plan that aligns with the City’s vision, values, and objectives.

A complete project will successfully implement the new brand identity and communication strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and enhance our organization’s reputation.

The City anticipates awarding a contract to one qualified independent certified public accounting firm for a (1) one-year term.

Proposal Delivery Instructions:

The Proposal Due Date for this solicitation is May 2, 2023.

Proposals are due no later than 5:00 pm on 5/2/2023 , to guarantee review. Proposals received after the deadline will be deemed non-responsive. All proposals will be e-mailed to enguyen@santacruzca.gov or delivered to the City of Santa Cruz City Manager’s Office, 809 Center Street, Room 9, Santa Cruz, California, 95060 before the due date. Proposers take full responsibility for City’s receipt of its Proposal. The City will not be liable for any expenses incurred by Proposers in responding to this solicitation, including but not limited to any costs associated with interviews. The subject line of the emailed proposal shall include the Project name and RFP number. It is the responsibility of the Proposer to ensure that electronic submittals are received by the City prior to the deadline.
