The City of Santa Cruz is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of "Fuel, Oil, & Lubricants" as needed, for an annual contract. Current purchases include:

• Unleaded Gasoline (87 Octane)
• Carb Ultra Low Renewable Diesel
• Red‐dyed Diesel
• Re‐refined motor oils
• Various lubricants, chemicals, and solvents.

Fuel deliveries shall be made to three primary locations on a regular basis and at least once a year to several smaller tanks and generators. All deliveries are located within the Santa Cruz city limits with the exception of one generator located at Zayante and Graham Hill roads in Felton.

The City anticipates awarding a contract to one qualified vendor for a (3) three-year initial contract term, with the option of two (2) one (1) year term extensions if the City so elects.

Submittal Delivery Instructions:

The Due Date for this solicitation is 2:00 p.m. PST on June 27, 2023.

Submittals are due no later than 2:00 pm on 6/27/2023 to guarantee review. Submittals received after the deadline will be deemed non-responsive. All submittals will be delivered to 1200 Pacific Avenue, Suite 290, Santa Cruz, Ca 95060 before the due date. Proposers take full responsibility for City’s receipt of its submittal. The City will not be liable for any expenses incurred by bidders in responding to this solicitation. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure that submittals are received by the City prior to the deadline.
