The successful contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to demo and install low voltage cabling and fiber optic cabling as a part of voice and data systems. All work will be performed to the satisfaction of the City and in accordance with applicable laws, codes and standards, terms and conditions, and specifications outlined in this Request for Proposal. Work will include new construction, tenant improvements, routine maintenance and changes to existing network infrastructure on an “as needed” basis. The type of systems may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Building management systems, including keying systems Fire alarm and/or security systems Internet technology improvements and systems Security camera and monitoring systems Product Specification-The current City standard product is Panduit Mini-com hardware and Category 6 cable. The cable brand is negotiable as long as it meets Category 6 standards. License-This work requires a C7 license-Low Voltage Systems Contractor
