Some City services utilize a Call Recorder system to capture and store audio in a secure manner in order to improve customer service levels and comply with mandates. The City recently transitioned to an on-premise Komutel “Komlog” next generation recording platform. The Komlog system integrates with the City’s Avaya PBX and organizes the recordings into selected groups so various departments only have visibility into their own calls. The City’s Utility Billing division requires automated redaction on sensitive data such as social security and credit card numbers in order to maintain PCI compliance. Therefore, in order for Utility Billing to begin utilizing Komlog, an audio automatic redaction solution must be integrated in partnership with the City and Komutel.
