Livestock Grazing for Lund Ranch Open Space
The City of Pleasanton is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP) for Livestock Grazing for Lund Ranch Open Space. The Lund Ranch property is divided into three pastures totaling approximately 168 acres, which includes a 76-acre Conservation Easement Area (CEA). The purpose of the CEA is to allow for the ongoing management of the vegetation to optimize its value as upland habitat for the California Tiger Salamander (CTS). The Tri-Valley Conservancy (TVC) will monitor the conditions within the CEA, provide recommendations for corrective action, ensure compliance with the Lund Ranch Grazing Management Plan for the CEA (see Attachment II), and the Lund Ranch CEA Invasive Plant Management Plan (see Attachment III).
