See Notice to Bidders for more information.** Hopyard and Owens Intersection: The replacement of approximately 115 linear feet of 12-inch water main across Hopyard Road just south of the intersection with Owens Drive and installation of new isolation valve clusters. The work will require extensive traffic control and to be completed at night. Isolation valves installations shall be completed by June 19, 2023. Kilkare Road and Wisteria Trail (Sunol, CA): The replacement of approximately 25 linear feet of 6-inch welded steel pipe with 6-inch ductile iron pipe across the bridge crossing at Wisteria Trail and Kilkare Road. The work will include custom pipe support fabrication and work with limited working area. A site visit prior to bid is highly recommended. Additionally, the work will consist of but is not limited to, all work associated with the removal and replacement of water lines including asbestos pipe, excavating existing roadway, concrete driveway, traffic control, and installation of fittings, piping, valving upgrades, cathodic protection, utility coordination and roadway restoration, complete in-place, in conformance with the plans and specifications and all within the City of Pleasanton. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $300,000.
