PROJECT TITLE: MARINA GATEWAY SIGNAGE DESIGN SERVICES

To All Proposers,

Request for Qualifications documents are amended as follows:

Clarifications and Revisions to the Request for Qualifications:

  1. The City will not provide site survey or site-specific geotechnical information. After the locations for the signs are confirmed by the City, the Consultant shall perform necessary investigations to satisfy the project design requirements.
  2. The following modifications are made to Section 3. "GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES."
    1. Replace third bullet in Section 3.1, "Develop Gateway Signage Design Concepts" with the following:
      • The selected consultant will develop a preliminary implementation plan for four (4) gateways to the City and one (1) entry to the airport. The four gateways to the City are located at:
      • Blanco Road at Resetvation Road
      • Reservation Road at Highway 1
      • Del Monte Blvd. at Reindollar Avenue
      • Imjin Parkway at Highway 1

The one entry sign to the airport would be located at Reservation Road and Imjin Road. The design concept should incorporate airport theme.

  1. Replace Section 3.3, "Engagement" with the following:

The selected consultant will work with city staff in the development of the design plan. A minimum of five (5) meetings are necessary.

  • An on-site meeting with city staff for an overview of the project and to gather information. A City tour will be included.
  • A meeting with the Planning Commission to review the design concepts and locations.
  • A community meeting to present the design concepts and receive input.
  • A City Council meeting to present the design concepts and receive input.
  • City Council meeting to present construction documents
  1. The following modifications are made to Section 5. "SUBMITTAL."
    1. Replace Paragraph C, "Due Date/Time" with the following:

Proposals will be received by the City's Public Works Department, until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday October 19, 2022. Submit RFQ packet to:
