Professional Park Design Consulting Services For Veeh Ranch Park and San Remo Park

The City is seeking a qualified professional design consultant to provide park design services for the rehabilitation of Veeh Ranch Park and San Remo Park.

The City has tentatively budgeted $1,010,000 for the rehabilitation of these parks.

At Veeh Ranch Park, the primary focus of the City is to replace all playground equipment and all rubber surfacing at the park, and replace any other urgent infrastructure at the park such as replacement of light fixture standards throughout the park. The City Council also expressed an interest in rehabilitating other existing improvements based upon available budget and interests of the community, which will necessitate evaluating all of the other existing improvements at the park.

At San Remo Park, the primary focus of the City is to replace the existing playground equipment and all rubber surfacing, and possibly convert the volleyball area to a barbecue area at the request of the Laguna Terrace Association. The City Council also expressed an interest in rehabilitating other existing improvements based upon available budget and interests of the community, which will necessitate evaluating all of the other existing improvements at the park.

The desired Scope of Services consists of the following components:

1. Inventory Existing Park Improvements

2. Community Outreach and Community Needs Assessment

3. Preliminary Design

4. Final Design Plans, Construction Documents, and Specifications

5. Optional: Construction Management and Contract Administration

Veeh Ranch Park is located between Santa Vittoria Drive and Mill Creek Drive, south of Lake Forest Drive.
