Request for Proposals
Design/Engineering Services for a Wetlands Habitat Restoration/Public Access Project

The City of Davis invites proposals from consultants for design/engineering services related to a wetlands habitat restoration/public access project on a 32-acre parcel of land owned by UC Davis along the South Fork of Putah Creek near Old Davis Road. The City of Davis is partnering with UC Davis on this project.

The purpose of the Project is to (1) provide rare off-channel creek habitat for salmon and other critical fish species, (2) provide additional wetland habitat for migratory bird species, (3) provide additional recreational opportunities for people to enjoy nature, specifically rare riparian habitat, and (4) expand the City’s network of trails accessible to people with disabilities.

Questions about this RFP are required to be submitted to Tracie Reynolds by November 23, 2022 at 5:00 pm. Questions submitted after the due date or via phone will not be accepted. All substantive questions and answers will be published via an addendum posted here and distributed to interested parties.

Submittal Information
Companies interested in submitting a proposal for this project should respond to this RFP with a written proposal providing all the information requested. The proposal will be considered complete only if all of the items listed under the Proposal Requirements are included.

Proposals shall be delivered via email to Tracie Reynolds at treynolds@cityofdavis.org on or before 4:00 p.m., December 21, 2022 with the email subject line: Design/Engineering Services for a Wetlands Habitat Restoration/Public Access Project. No hard copy proposals will be accepted.
