The City of Coronado invites sealed bids for the Aquatic Deck Replacement and Pool Plaster Project. This project consists of improvements to the City of Coronado Community Center’s existing pools located at 1845 Strand Way, Coronado, CA 92118. Work relating to the existing pools includes, but is not limited to, approximately 34,900 square feet of pool deck replacement, pool re-plastering and re-tiling, providing new gutter tile and gutter grates, repairing cracks and/or rust in pools shells, refinishing of all grabrails and handrails, refurbishing existing bulkhead. Project alternates include, additional deck replacement, turf replacement, bulkhead removal and replacement, refinish and gel-coat existing water feature.

proposer’s responsibility to inform itself of any addendum prior to its submission of a proposal.

Qualifications:
|
The successful bidder will be required to possess a current State of
California Class A General Engineering License with a C-53 specialty contractor’s license, or a
Class A General Engineering License and list a subcontractor with a C-53 contractor’s specialty
license, or a C-53 specialty contractor’s license at the time the Contract is awarded. Contractors
and subcontractors must also be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial
Relations per Labor Code Section 1771.1(a) and possess a City business certificate. See sheet A-
5 for additional requirements.
