The City of Coronado invites sealed bids for the League of Wives Sculpture Installation project. This project consists of all Work as described in the Contract Documents prepared by PSOMAS Engineering dated January 26, 2024, to install the League of Wives bronze sculpture. The Work includes but is not limited to a concrete footing to attach the sculpture, brick pavement to match the existing on site layout, and electrical work for sculpture illumination.

Copies of the plans, specifications, instructions to bidders, and bidder’s proposal forms are available at the Public Services & Engineering Department, 1825 Strand Way, Coronado, California 92118. The cost (non-refundable) is $20.00 per set, not including postage. An electronic version of the documents is available on the City’s website located at www.coronado.ca.us/bids. The City may modify the solicitation document prior to the due date and time for submission of proposals, as allowable under the California Public Contracts Code by posting an addendum on the City’s website at www.coronado.ca.us/bids. It is each proposer’s responsibility to inform itself of any addendum prior to its submission of a proposal.

Qualifications:
|
|
The successful bidder will be required to possess a current State of California Class B General Building or Class A General Engineering License at the time the Contract is awarded. Contractors and subcontractors must also be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations per Labor Code Section 1771.1(a) and possess a City business certificate.
