In 2024, the City expects to awarded annual entitlement funds estimated at $600,000, which $90,000 is available for public services. A nonprofit organization is free to choose an activity that best meets the needs of the community, meets a national objective, and is able to meet the requirements of the CDBG program. Past activities that have received CDBG funds include meal for seniors, youth programs, homeless services, fair housing services, job employment, and domestic violence services.
City staff will host a workshop for applicants who wish to learn more about the
Citys CDBG Program
and what is required of a nonprofit if selected for funding. The workshop is scheduled for July 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. For more information on how to join the workshop, send an email to
