Notice of Request for Qualifications/Proposals for
Arcata Stormwater Rate Study
The City of Arcata is seeking statements of qualifications and proposals (SOQ/P) from qualified consultants to provide professional services to prepare a Stormwater Rate Study to assess and support the stormwater quality and drainage needs of Arcata, to ensure sustainability of the City’s Stormwater Drainage Fund, and to plan for future projects to address stormwater and drainage needs throughout the city.
The City intends to enter into a professional services agreement with a qualified consulting firm to complete a Stormwater Rate Study – including, but not limited to, analyzing current stormwater operations and costs, assessing the current application of stormwater drainage fees and recommending a stormwater rate/fee structure to ensure sustainable, cost-effective service delivery. The Rate Study will be used to recommend appropriate stormwater drainage fees for consideration by the Arcata City Council.
Proposals will be received at the City Manager's Office, 736 F Street, Arcata, California until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked by a selection committee which will inform the selection of the most qualified consultant for this contract award.
