Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center (ARC) has a requirement to purchase a large vacuum oven (Interior: 75-86 in (width) x 75 to 85 in (depth) x 48 In (height) to support the fabrication of NASA Thermal Protection System (TPS) materials ranging from low density comformable or flexible materials to full densified composities in support of Class D missions. See attachment for more details.



1. GENERAL INFORMATION: Briefly describe your company and the types of similar supplies provided. Please also include: the names, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers for any points of contacts (POCs), the company’s address, CAGE Code/DUNS number, and the type of business demographic that applies (i.e., small business, large business, women-owned).

2. PAST PERFORMANCE: Provide contract information on similar contracts over the past three (3) years. This information shall include: the name of customer/agency, types of products provided, type of contract, total contract value, and whether the contractor was a prime or subcontract. If subcontract, please provide details regarding prime contract and your company’s role in supporting the prime contractor.

3. CAPABILITIES: Provide information describing your company’s capabilities to fulfill our needs based on the attached Statement of Work and be able to delivery in the time specified in the Statement of Work.





All responses shall be submitted electronically via email to the Contracting Officers, Wilma.L.Estrada@nasa.gov no later than May 24, 2023, 5:00 p.m. PDT. Please reference sources sought 80ARC023SUIT and your firm/company name in any response. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Submissions should also include socioeconomic categories of Small Businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI), and members of the underserved communities as defined by Executive Order 13985, Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through The Federal Government, for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for this requirement. The Government reserves the right to consider a Small, 8(a), Women-owned (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran (SD-VOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business (EDWOSB) or HUBZone business set-aside based on responses received.
