The purpose of this amendment is to answer contractor questions and extend the quote submission date to allow for additional time to provide a quote.



Questions and Answers:



- Will the contractor who is delivering the hay, need a squeeze bale grapple to take the hay off the truck or does the buyer have one already at the location?



Contractor is to provide the squeeze.



- Do you require square or round bales?



Square bail ~100 lbs each three twined



- Who will be responsible for unloading?



The contractor.



- How much was the bid unit price that was awarded last time?



The last award for hay on the Inyo NF, for this program was last year 06/21/2022 for a total of $18,688.00 on contract number: 127EAS22P0030.





This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.



Solicitation 127EAS23Q0088 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ).



This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.



North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 111940, Size standard of $1 Million.



This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04 and Agriculture Acquisition Regulation (AGAR) last updated 11 March 2021. The result of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract.
