This notice acts as notice of intent to award a sole source contract IAW FAR 5.207.

The 30th Contracting Squadron at Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB), CA intends to award a sole source purchase order contract to Simtek Modular LLC for the purchase of the Modular Shoot House Training Facility to support defenders and the mission of VSFB and to help prepare for situations and scenarios in the most realistic way possible while also offering the utmost degree of safety.

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 2 days of publication of this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Firms who seek to challenge the sole source must submit substantiating documentation that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described in the attached Salient Characteristics.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 30th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing capability information.

Description: Modular Training house Panel Kit. Pre-made panel walls, doors, and windows. Includes (1) 1,440 sq ft Shoot House and (1) 2,400 sq ft Shoot House. No Factory Install (Self Install w/instructions provided).
