Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BID – PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.



This project includes embankment slope repairs and stabilization on Palomarin Road adjacent to the culvert crossing at Arroyo Hondo Creek within Point Reyes National Seashore, CA. The embankment slope failure occurred as a result of the heavy Atmospheric River storm and extreme runoff in December 2022 and January 2023.



The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated advertisement date for the project is November 2023 with construction anticipated from April to May 2024.



Work is occurring in natural resource sensitive areas and there are environmental constraints that may affect the construction schedule and type of operations.



Principle work items include:



400 cubic yards of special rock embankment,



80 tons of roadway aggregate, method 2, and;



Debris removal at culvert outlet
