Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, CA has the intent to award a sole source contract for Restricted Area Badge (RAB) Workstations and Printers to Advantor Systems Corporation IAW the guidance of FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. Established protocol has identified these specific workstations and printers as the only approved option compatible with the current ones being utilized by the 60th Security Forces Squadron (SFS).

The 60 SFS Restricted Area Badge administration and badging is done with the proprietary system designed and fielded by Advantor. This project will connect to the one current RAB workstation and printer. The 60 SFS requires installation of one ADVANTOR SFXI badging workstation and two RAB printers.

This is a notice of the intent to award a sole source contract. It is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to the notice of intent to sole source are anticipated, however, all quotations/responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
