Request for Information (For Market Research Purposes Only)
Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) requires repaint and treat corrosion for the COTP Sacramento and San Joaquin River Crossing towers. This Request for Information (RFI) is to determine the availability of small business firms and other than small business firms that have the capability of performing the work in accordance with the provided Draft Specifications. The contractor shall have extensive experience in the following areas:
• Nondestructive testing and inspection of steel lattice towers and interpreting the results.
• Structural Steel coatings experience.
• Structural engineering experience in lattice tower structures.
This is for market research purposes only and we are NOT seeking quotes at this time - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this RFI or any follow-up information requests.
Interested parties having the skills and capabilities of performing the requirement are encouraged to provide feedback via email to Jolene Daoud at Daoud@WAPA.GOV by the closing date. Phone calls will not be accepted. Please provide your response to the following:
