Description

Seeking an emergency towing system for large deep draft ocean-going vessels. Salient Characteristics/Requirements:



1. System includes required lines, floats, and buoys;



2. System includes & can be transported & stored in a tote/container;



3. System includes a cargo net lined within the tote/container to enable system deployment on a disabled vessel’s deck via a cargo net;



4. System weighs less than 2,000 lbs;



5. System can be deployed to a disabled vessel from an aircraft or a vessel;



6. System is designed to provide more than 2 connection points with a disabled vessel; and



7. System is rated to tow disabled vessels greater than 50,000 dwt (dead weight tons).



Note: Item is equipment only and does not require contractor installation or maintenance service agreements.



Delivery/Performance Schedule:

All goods and/or services shall be delivered to 11TH DISTRICT USCG COAST GUARD ISLAND BLDG 52 ALAMEDA, CA,94501-5100, FOB: Destination

All offerors shall submit questions to jason.a.garris@uscg,mil no later than 07:00AM Eastern on 13 September 2023. Unless authorized by amendment to this solicitation, all offers shall be submitted electronically to jason.a.garris@uscg.mil on or before 11:59PM Eastern on 14 September 2023.
