Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410A Procurement intends to award a Sole Source contract to Timken Gears & Services Inc. (Timken) \ (DBA Philadelphia Gear) to provide replacement parts for the clutch and brake. The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333613. , and the business size standard is 750.

Timken (DBA Philadelphia Gear) is the only known distributor for the replacement parts needed and the required material must be replaced with the same exact material and must have the same function capability. Thus, Timken (DBA Philadelphia Gear) is the only vendor that can provide the exact parts in all aspects (Form, Fit, and Function) with the existing systems presently installed.

This notice is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received within 3 days after date of publication of this posting will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government.
