DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service has a requirement for the supply and delivery of off-road, red-dyed diesel fuel #2 at five locations: Chinquapin, Wawona Maintenance Yard, Tioga, Hodgdon Meadows Yard, and Crane Flat. These locations are within Yosemite National Park, Mariposa County, California. The Government is soliciting quotes for firms having the capability to provide services with an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ). The services may be required at any time of the year and must be delivered to a 2,400-gallon tanker truck. All tanks shall have no less than 50% capacity at all times.

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-01 (effective December 30, 2022). The solicitation number is 140P8523Q0009 and is issued as a Request for Quotation for a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity commercial supply contract. The performance period includes a one-year base and four one-year options. The NACIS code is 324110. This solicitation is issued as full and open competition with no set-aside restrictions.

The government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror (pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1) whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: price, technical capability, and past performance.

QUOTES ARE DUE AT 1:00 P.M. PACIFIC TIME (PT) ON THURSDAY, MARCH 2, 2023. Only emailed quotes will be accepted.
