NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE
NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Pearl Harbor, Regional Contracting Department intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to Acrea3D LLC, CAGE 8LK20, 3106 Ingersol Ave. Des Moines, IA 50312 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed purchase order is in support of Naval Post Graduate School for the purchase of an Acrea 3D printer capable of printing high resolution at 8um or smaller horizontally and 0.25 um or smaller vertically. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 511715 54715 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) with a small business size standard of 1,000 Employees.
Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), the procedures at FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and the procedures at FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The purpose of this notice is to satisfy the requirements of FAR subpart 5.2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible parties may submit a quotation by the closing date of this announcement which shall be considered by the agency. A solicitation may be provided by request. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. Any interested vendors must identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice no later than Friday 15 September 2023 at 1600 HST.
NAVSUP FLCPH will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice
