On behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (PM-CAS), the U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ), has awarded Modification P00003 under Contract W15QKN-21-D-0005 on 20 September 2023 to Armtec Defense Products, Inc. (Coachella, CA). This contract is a Sole-Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the production and delivery of the Modular Artillery Charge Systems (MACS) M231/M232-series Combustible Case Assemblies.

The purpose of this modification was to increase the contract ceiling by $691,628,515.45, FROM: $207,659,016.32 TO: $899,287,531.77. This modification was executed in accordance with 10 U.S.C.3204(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B)-Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This modification was a result of the surge in requirements to support the Presidential Buyback effort.
