The Sources Sought Notice is published for informational purpose only and not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which if received by the response date, shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division.
Please reference the attached Draft Statement of Work for the description of the requirement.
The technical capability statement shall include the following:
1. Company name, address, point of contract, CAGE code and DUNS.
2. Business size standard for the NAICS identified in this Sources Sought Notice.
3. The Contractor’s ability to manage, as prime contractor, the types and magnitude of tasking in the draft SOW.
4. The Contractor’s technical ability, or potential approach to achieving technical ability, for this construction requirement listed in the draft SOW.
5. The Contractor’s capacity or potential approach to achieving capacity, to conduct the requirements of the draft SOW. For the purposes of this Capability Statement, capacity shall refer to matters such as the magnitude of the tasking, the amount of equipment or facilities involved, the size of the staff needed and cumulative bonding capability.
It is requested that all interested Other-than-Small-Business and Small Business, including but not limited to HUBZone, 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), respond with a Capability Statement of a maximum of 15-pages to be used to determine the availability of Small Business concerns for this requirement. Interested Small Business concerns must identify their small business socio-economic categories. This Market Research will be used to determine the availability of sources to perform this effort.
Responses must be submitted via email to the contract specialist Spencer Watton at spencer.m.watton.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 05:00 pm PST on the response date noted in the Sources Sought Notice. The email should reference Sources Sought Notice N6426723R0024 in the subject line of the email.
A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought notice is strictly voluntary.
