Steering Gear Actuator Parts





Background:



While conducting routine round underway, watchstander discovered a hydraulic leak on the upper rudder actuator for the Port Steering Gear. Hydraulic oil drained at a rate of approximately 2 quarts per hour from the upper seal between the rudde stock and mounting piston.
