The City of Alameda (“City”) is requesting the services of an outside consultant to update the City’s Zero Waste Plan (Plan). The proposal requires that prospective consultants have an extensive perspective and experience in the municipal process and implementation of Plans. The Consultant should demonstrate knowledge of municipality and community residential and commercial Zero Waste programs and practices; have the ability to document and conduct workshops; interface with City staff (Staff); provide written analysis of current Zero Waste programs and the City’s progress towards its Zero Waste goals; propose future options for an updated Plan and; the ability to develop a guidebook that will be useful for the municipality as a whole in the implementation of the Plan.
The Proposal, clearly marked with the project name “2023 Zero Waste Update” should be submitted by email no later than:
5:00 pm on March 16, 2023
