270079	RFQ	RFP FOR GOAT GRAZING -PROFESSIONAL SERVICES	06-Jan-2023	02-FEB-2023 14:00:00	The City of Oakland Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Bureau is currently soliciting Requests for Proposals on a new goat grazing contract beginning in 2023, to graze large city owned lots in parks and open spaces to lessen light, flashy fuels such as weeds and grasses within the city’s Very High Fire Severity Zone. All goat grazing activities are expected to be in a controlled and monitored environment and all contractors must meet all local and state labor requirements outlined in the RFP. All work should be conducted with Fire Prevention’s approval between the months of May and November.
