The Town of Wickenburg seeks a private partner to assist with housing and quarantining of local stray dogs. A facility interested in partnering with the Town of Wickenburg should submit a proposal for a stray dog services solution.
Based on the proposal provided, firms may be selected for a demonstration and interview. Upon completion of a demonstration and interview phase, the Town expects, but is not obligated, to proceed with negotiation of a contract with the selected proposer. Any proposer responding to this Request for Proposals must agree to the terms and conditions included in the proposed contract.
The Town of Wickenburg is looking for a private partner to assist the Town of Wickenburg in housing, providing emergency veterinary care and quarantine services for dogs dropped off by the Wickenburg Police Department or their designee. This partnership would include assisting the Wickenburg Police Department in collecting owner and stray dog data in order to facilitate a timely return of stray dogs as well as providing informal training on initial interaction and collection of stray dogs to Wickenburg Police Department officer. This partnership should also facilitate the retain and participation in creative solutions in an effort to reduce the number of stray dog calls responded to by the Wickenburg Police Department.
